This is Peak Ed's flagship program for middle schoolers, held in partnership with The Colorado Springs School. An intensive, two-week program delivers a robust Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM) curriculum to rising 7th through 9th graders.

Deadline for priority registration is May 12

Volunteer! 

All ages

Many of our local organizations have opportunities for teens to volunteer. With more hours available in the summer, students can make extended commitments that will build their skills and their resumés while they give back to their community.

UCCS STEM OUTREACH PROGRAM

11th and 12th Grade Students

The UCCS Lab Experience Program will be comprised of 3 days targeted towards high achieving junior and senior high school students interested in chemistry or biochemistry as a college major.  This event is sponsored by UCCS and the College of Letters, Arts and Sciences.   The week at UCCS will include challenging introductory labs in the following subjects:  General Chemistry I and II, Organic Chemistry, and labs applicable to Biochemistry and Analytical Chemistry. 

Applications are due May 28th.

CITY COUNCIL INTERNSHIP

College Students

In this internship you will be assisting the City Council, and Staff during the comprehensive review of the 25 City Council Appointed Boards, Commissions and Committees. As identified in the City Council 2020-2024 Strategic Plan the purpose of this process is to identify programmatic and legislative efficiencies and enhancements within the Boards and Commissions program.
